Huntington Arts Council is proud to present Nightmare on Main Street. Juror Stephanie Buscema. In its 8th year, the exhibit is on display October 18 though November 16, 2019. The costume reception will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6-8pm at the Main Street Gallery, 213 Main Street, Huntington NY 11743.This is a free event, all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.
Huntington Arts Council invited students grades 6-12 to participate in “Nightmare on Main Street” with art inspired by the theme of Halloween.”We celebrate by turning ourselves into whatever and whoever we’d like to be on October 31st. Scary, silly, creepy or beautiful, what would you want to transform yourself into during this time of year?” was the question our Juror Stephanie Buscema posed as inspiration for the show.

About the Juror: Stephanie Buscema is a painter, illustrator and designer working traditionally with paints on paper. Working professionally for the past 15 years on a variety of projects, from publishing to textile design, her days are spent working in her home studio here in Huntington, NY. Alongside work assignments, she owns a small business, Kitschy Witch Designs, creating whimsical textile prints and designing vintage inspired clothing and accessories.
